Being Deepika Padukone’s and Amy Jackson’s debut this year, they appeared in sheer purple gown by Marchesa and white Versace gown respectively. But were these two the only debuts from the Indian movie industry?
Shruti Hassan made her debut this year to promote her movie Sangamithra and walked the red carpet in the designer outfits that captured much attention. This Chennai based actress mastered the red carpet with her bold and sporty look, ravishing outfits and elegant walk.
Shruti Hassan walked the red carpet in a black Avaro Figlio dress on her first day in the French Riviera. Designed with ruffles, she presented herself in messy, soft curls and accessorised her outfit with golden Louboutins. She opted for minimal makeup with fainted smoky eyes to give a chic look and her striking attitude caught the eye of fashion critics and paparazzi.
On her second day at Cannes, she chose to wear a ruffled saree by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and paired it with a gold 3D lotus mirror structured blouse. Accessorising it with a black and golden ring by Misho designs golden studs from Anomaly, she chose to have minimal makeup with a winged eyeliner and soft pink lips. Sporting her bold looks, she gave in the perfect modern retro vibes and was the talk of the town.
Her third outfit was something different from the rest of the outfits that she sported. On the third day, she was dressed in all black and chose to accessorise it with an elegant diamond neck piece. She chose to have straight hair for the look and glossed it with a muted lip tone. From what she chose to present herself at the festival, it felt as though she was in love with ruffles and minimal makeup looks.
The actress was accompanied by the cast and crew of her movie, but seems like they were shadowed by the other divas from the Indian film industry who walked the red carpet in their designer outfits and bold makeup looks.
